Optional first-party analytics
Analytics is off until you enable it through Analytics settings in the footer. It is disabled on local and preview domains and respects Global Privacy Control. If enabled on the production domain, it records page views, filter selections, mashup-detail clicks and original-source clicks.
Events contain random visitor and session IDs, an event ID, page path, event time and application version. We do not store typed searches, game files, email addresses or account details. The site has no registration or payments.
Visitor IDs and your preference are stored in your browser’s local storage; a session ID uses session storage. Turning analytics off removes the browser’s analytics IDs and stops new event submissions. It does not automatically delete events already received. The production backend has a 90-day retention target with daily cleanup; expired records may remain until the next cleanup. Analytics stays disabled until that cleanup is configured and checked.
External images and links
Creator screenshots and video thumbnails load from Melty, Stabyourself.net, Modrinth’s CDN and YouTube’s image host. Those hosts receive ordinary image requests, which may include your IP address. Images use a no-referrer policy. We do not embed autoplay videos or third-party analytics scripts.
Following a creator link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy rules. Hosting infrastructure may process routine technical request data under its own policies.
