Minecraft building and combat in Fallout 4’s Commonwealth
FalloutCraft runs Minecraft movement, inventory, hearts, blocks and combat inside Fallout 4. Fallout keeps its Commonwealth, NPCs, quests and Pip-Boy. Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats affect Minecraft movement and combat. The author’s v0.1.3 release, published October 4, 2026 in China, adds a NeoForge 1.21.1 route alongside Fabric 26.3.
What you need
Windows, your own Steam Fallout 4 on runtime 1.11.240, matching F4SE (tested with 0.7.9) and Address Library. The old 1.10.163 runtime is unsupported. You also need an owned Minecraft Java account. Choose Minecraft 26.3 with Fabric Loader 0.19.5+, Fabric API 0.161.0+26.3 and Java 25, or Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.x and Java 21. Budget about 3 GB of extra RAM.
How to get started
- Read the release requirements and back up your saves. Use a Fallout save made after leaving Vault 111.
- Install F4SE and Address Library, then install FalloutCraft-0.1.3-FO4.zip with Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex.
- Create one matching Minecraft instance. Add the Fabric or NeoForge FalloutCraft JAR; use only one loader’s files.
- Start Minecraft first, then launch Fallout through F4SE. Update both game components together.
