Minecraft building and combat inside Valheim
LoAlCo’s ValCraft runs Minecraft alongside Valheim. Minecraft supplies movement, inventory, blocks and combat; Valheim supplies terrain, weather, creatures and dungeons. Release v0.7.0, published October 8, 2026 in China, adds Valheim armor, combat between the games’ creatures, fire and lighting integration. This listing covers LoAlCo’s project, separate from strangemap’s same-name ValCraft.
What you need
Windows, your own Steam Valheim and a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft Java Edition. Allow about 3 GB of extra RAM and 2 GB of disk space. The bundled Prism profile uses Minecraft 26.3 and Fabric, and downloads its Java runtime. Source builds require Java 25. Gale imports the author’s ZIP with BepInEx; an optional guided installer also supports r2modman and Thunderstore Mod Manager. Multiplayer participants need the same mod version.
How to get started
- Read the author’s installation guide and back up your Valheim saves and existing mod profile.
- Create a separate Gale profile and import LoAlCo-ValCraft-0.7.0.zip through File, Import, Local mod.
- Launch Valheim from the mod manager. Complete the bundled Prism setup with your owned Minecraft account.
- F7 switches control between Valheim and Minecraft. F8 switches block terrain; multiplayer participants should use the same terrain mode.
